Problems with soil due to continuous cropping
When crops are grown continuously, different crops are grown again after one or two seasons, or crops with the same genus (crops with a close genetic history) are grown continuously, the growing environment of the crops gets aggravated. - Soil-borne pests : Viruses arising in previous years stay dormant in the roots, stems, and soil, remaining as residues after the crops have been harvested. They survive through the winter and then infect the crops that are planted.
